North Walsham is embarking on an exciting scheme to renew its historic town centre. Driven by the local community, North Norfolk District Council spearheaded successful funding applications securing a package of over £3 million investment for the period 2020-2024.
The programme is made up of a number of exciting projects which together will make a real difference.

Alongside the physical improvements to the town we are also really excited to have been awarded an additional £90,000 for cultural events and events and activities. This funding will help celebrate the town's heritage and culture, making the town centre a more attractive, engaging and vibrant place for people to live, work and spend time. Poet of local myths and legends The Norfolk Dumpling will be performing at Market cross, North Walsham, every Wednesday in Aug at 2pm.
This is a community led programme with events and activities, inspired and led by the people of the town, for the town.
